A thunderous sound, as if a giant bomb had exploded, reverberated throughout Uuga.
At the same time, the body of the Minatauros, which had been rampaging in the center of Uuga, was incinerated without a trace.
“…That was brutal,” Ur said, intimidated by the result.
“That’s overkill, ain’t it?” Jain remarked, stunned.
Ur understood that it was the magic of the White King Formation, but compared to what he had seen before, both the range and power were several levels higher.
As Jain described it as overkill, it was so excessively high-powered that it seemed difficult to use effectively. However, being able to kill a 6th-rank monster to such an extent was truly astonishing.
As for the two who had created it…
“Let’s do it again. Let’s do it again,” Lynne pleaded.
“No more! We’re not doing it again!!!” Echelle refused.
“What are you guys doing?” Ur asked.
“Ur!!” Echelle exclaimed, leaping onto Ur and immediately circling around to his back. Then Lynne stretched out her hand towards Ur like a specter.
“Hand over that woman, Ur,” Lynne demanded.
“What do you intend to do?” Ur asked.
“Recreate what we just did,” Lynne replied.
“Echelle, go over there to where Kalkara is,” Ur instructed.
Echelle ran off towards where Kalkara was.
“Why are you interfering? We haven’t been able to properly experiment yet,” Lynne complained.
“At least do that kind of thing outside after Uuga has stopped,” Ur said.
“I thought it would be a double shot, but I never imagined they would combine. Interesting,” Lynne mused.
“Don’t find it interesting,” Ur chided.
After the scorching light had passed, the ground was shattered and everything was charred. Moreover, it still retained heat, making it impossible to approach. Repair would be difficult, and it could have easily turned into an accident.
“And we don’t even know if the rain of monsters has ended yet. This is no time to let our guard down,” Ur warned.
“No, Ur-sama,” Shizuku said, pointing to the sky. In the distance, small black shadows could be seen falling again. The group tensed up, thinking it was another monster attack.
However, as the shadows gradually grew larger, their appearance was even stranger than the previous monsters. They were covered in blood even before falling and hitting the barrier. And above all, the one standing on top of the monster was…
“Diz,” Ur said.
Soon, the mysterious monster and Diz landed. The impact wasn’t significant, so they had probably used magic to slow down their falling speed. Diz was covered in blood, but it all seemed to be splatter. She appeared to be uninjured.
“Hey, Ur. You’re done over there, right?” Diz asked.
“Yeah… So, what’s that, Diz?” Ur inquired.
“The monster responsible for this commotion,” Diz replied.
“That is…?” Ur wondered.
The corpse of the monster Diz had dropped wasn’t particularly large. It was only about 2 meters in size at most. However, it had a bizarre appearance.
If one were to compare it to the closest resemblance, it would be a newborn human baby. Smooth skin, underdeveloped fingertips, a hairless head. Unopened eyelids. It was truly a baby. But it had grown to that size, and what should have been an endearing appearance felt eerie.
The feature that differed from a baby was the pure white wings growing from its back. Pure white wings like a swan. It resembled the appearance of the retainers of God described in the faith of the Sun God.
However, Ur recognized the shape of those wings.
Rather than a bird, the shape of the wings resembled—
“Is this a dragon?” Ur asked.
“It’s an underling of the 【Dragon of Sin Proudia】. Although it has barely been granted any power, it’s the lowest of the low,” Diz explained.
At those words, a murmur rippled through the crowd.
Meanwhile, the dragon with the appearance of a baby gradually melted away. Diz continued speaking.
“Proudia’s dragons possess a troublesome characteristic. They can freely rewrite the space around them,” Diz said.
“Rewrite…?” Ur asked.
“They can change things into something different. The sky into the sea. A snowy field into a volcanic area. Day into night,” Diz explained.
Diz’s explanation didn’t really resonate with Ur. It probably wasn’t just Ur. Everyone present, accustomed to fighting against monsters until now, couldn’t comprehend this level of discussion.
“The power of the underlings has conditions and is limited in range. That’s why they usually stay in the sky. It’s a blank canvas with little interference. They can rewrite it as they please,” Diz said.
“…So, how did they use that inexplicable power to summon monsters?” Ur asked.
“Well,” Diz looked up at the sky and said, “They transformed the sky into the Dungeon of Sin, Proudia.”
“…………” Ur looked up at the sky. It was a clear blue sky without a single cloud. At first glance, there was no visible change, and in fact, now that this dragon underling had died, it was probably a normal sky as usual. However, just a moment ago, while the monsters were raining down, she said that this sky was a dungeon.
“It probably covered the entire area where Uuga is located. That space was rewritten into a dungeon. That’s why monsters appeared, but since there was no ground, they fell, right?” Diz explained.
“Sorry, hold on a second,” Ur interrupted Diz’s words. He needed time to comprehend it.
“……Huh?” Even after taking some time, Ur couldn’t understand it.
It was nothing but nonsense.
All Ur understood was the fact that Proudia’s dragons harbored an incredibly terrifying power that was beyond comprehension. And when he thought about how they would be caught up in a dreadful battle in the 【City of Sin, Proudia】, where dragons with such power resided, he felt terribly gloomy.
“By the way, Ur, have you seen Black?” Diz asked.
“Huh? No, I haven’t seen him. We parted ways at the command tower,” Ur replied.
“I see…” Diz pondered for a moment. Ur couldn’t say that he wasn’t curious about that man who hadn’t been involved in the battle at all this time. He had the impression that someone like him would have rushed headfirst into a festival like this.
However, there was no point in thinking about someone who wasn’t present.
Right now, they had to resolve the chaos in front of them.
“Diz, if another dragon comes, will monsters rain down like we just saw? Do we need to be on alert?” Ur asked.
“Underling dragons with the power to rewrite reality don’t attack very often, but if you want to be cautious, it might be a good idea to increase the output of Uuga’s barrier. Lynne,” Diz said.
Lynne nodded. “Let’s slow down the movement speed a bit and increase the output of the barrier. We’ll make sure the monsters can’t break through.”
She declared it loud enough for everyone present to hear. Although there were still traces of unease and vigilance on everyone’s faces, they seemed to be convinced for the time being.
“Most of the monster corpses have already dissipated, but there should be many damaged areas. Let’s hurry and carry out the cleanup and repairs. I request the cooperation of those who are familiar with magic,” Shizuku also declared.
And with that, the strange Uuga attack incident, a disaster from the sky, was tentatively resolved.
From a distance, Eckstein observed the situation.
“Even with the advantage of terrain and numbers, they repelled a 6th-rank monster in one fell swoop. The solidarity within Uuga is much stronger than we anticipated,” he mused.
Initially, the internal state of Uuga that the Envy Knight Order had been investigating could be summed up in one word: chaos. Many of them were just a ragtag group gathered together on the spur of the moment. There was no way they could establish a cooperative relationship.
Or so the Envy Knight Order’s strike force had speculated.
The Nameless, the priests and their attendants, the survivors of the fallen royal family, a group of adventurers, priests from another country, and the Seven Heavens. The lack of cohesion among the various types of Uuga’s residents further fueled that speculation.
However, in the face of a crisis, they fought remarkably united and successfully repelled the threat.
“Vice-captain Eckstein, I’ve confirmed it just to be sure, but the number of casualties this time is—” a subordinate reported.
“Zero, right? I know. I checked it myself. Everyone, go and help Shizuku and the others,” Eckstein instructed, dismissing his subordinate.
Eckstein continued to gaze at Ur and the others from afar. His expression was not the refreshing smile of a handsome young man that he showed in front of Ur and the others. It was cold and gloomy.
“Even if they hear about this, the Envy folks probably won’t stop… Good luck, Ur,” he muttered.
His friend Ur did not hear his whisper.

Command Tower[1] – Upper Airspace
“Well, well, well, I wonder why Proudia sent something like this?”
Black was high, high above Uuga.
Of course, he had no wings, but his feet firmly stood on the air as naturally as they would on the ground. Whether it was magic or another power, no one could discern it.
Only he and the now-silent corpse of Proudia’s underling dragon were present.
“Sending an underling all the way out of the dungeon and forcefully attacking, that’s quite an ugly way of doing things, Proudia,” Black remarked.
Proudia’s underling dragon was shattered and blackened all over its body. The wounds were strange. It wasn’t burnt or charred. Nevertheless, the distorted baby-like underling dragon had parts of its body stained black, and those parts held no power whatsoever.
Black discarded the corpse, which scattered with the slightest breeze. Soon, it crumbled and disappeared in midair.
“Unlike Lust or Greed, it’s true that they have a timid and petty personality, but… they’re a bit too timid, aren’t they?” Black said, looking down at his feet. From this location, the giant mobile city of Uuga looked no larger than a grain of sand.
“If they’re scared of a toy like that, they’ll be the laughingstock of the Sin Dragons. And if that’s the case…” He fixed his golden eyes on Uuga.
In his field of vision, the interior of Uuga and its residents were reflected.
This was not the power of a magic eye in his gaze. His eyes did not possess vision-enhancing abilities like Eckstein’s. It was merely a part of his commonplace physical abilities, akin to having good eyesight.
He intently observed the residents. Naturally, they were unaware that Black was watching them.
The 【Hero】 would have likely noticed that someone other than her had defeated Proudia’s underling in the sky above. Or perhaps she had sensed him at that time. However, she was unaware of Black’s current location. Despite her multifaceted excellence, she was not omniscient. If she didn’t actively search, she wouldn’t be able to find him.
No one could detect Black in the sky, not even as a shadow—or so it should have been.
“—————” His eyes met with the silver-haired woman.
“—————Ha!” He laughed.
In the heavens where no one could hear, he laughed loudly, joyfully, and ferociously.
Then, he suddenly began to fall. As he descended, he cast his gaze towards the sky.
“Things are about to get fun, Al,” Black said, addressing the sunlight ahead of his gaze, which continued to brightly illuminate everything on the ground, unconcerned with the small disturbance and confusion that had occurred below.
