“Who’s the person you like~? Am I not good enough?~” -Misuzu

Rolling around on the bed, writhing in frustration. I ended up kissing him impulsively. He pulled me along when I was struggling, and I managed to keep up with Yuuta. We ran together all day, went to the bathroom together, and would probably spend even more time together if we ended up staying overnight.

But I didn’t mind at all. In fact, I wanted to stay overnight with him sooner. That’s why I kissed him. I would be happy if he felt the same way.

“What does it mean that he has someone he likes? Maybe a classmate. Ugh, that’s tough.” -Misuzu

“What’s tough?” -Mei

Startled by the voice, I looked up to find my older sister, Mei.

“Oh, you scared me, sister!” -Misuzu

“What, you’re adorably writhing over there. Did things go well with the  boy you like?” -Mei

“I kissed him! I was super excited!” -Misuzu

“That’s great to hear. But I have some potentially sad news about Evie. She’s coming tomorrow. When I mentioned you guys were going to Ikebukuro Dungeon first thing in the morning, she said, ‘I’ll make it in time for that.’”

“Ah, that’s too soon!” -Mei

My sister Mei, as always beautiful and slender, seems intent on introducing me to a girl she claims is even more beautiful than herself. People often compliment me for my beauty, but I don’t feel like I can surpass my sister in that regard.”

I think I have a pretty strong sense of inferiority myself. With a sister as beautiful as Mei and my other sister, Reika, who is incredibly smart, I’ve never really had much confidence in myself.

“Silly girl. Love is more exciting when there’s a rival. The early bird catches the worm, so take your chance when you get it.” -Mei

“That’s too early! It’s too soon for a 15-year-old in Japan!” -Misuzu

“Then Misuzu is going to lose to a 15-year-old in America. If Evie seduces him, he’ll fall for her right away.” -Mei

“Eh, sister, that’s harsh~.” -Misuzu

Mei, my sister, replied rather casually, as if it were none of her business. Love and infatuation seem like ordinary things in life to her.

“Oh, and there’s this. Reika was worried that you were planning to sell ‘that potion’ and transferred 10 million yen to your account. ‘Don’t sell the potion, keep it safe. I’m giving you 10 million, use it freely,’ she said.” -Mei

“Reika is too perceptive, it’s scary. Where is she?” -Misuzu

I’ve already sold the potion, but I didn’t say that. Well, I still have that potion given by a high-level explorer, someone whose face I don’t even know.

“When I contacted an old friend about quitting the United Nations and coming back, they said they’d introduce me to a new job. Today, I’m off to see that friend. Seems like I can get a job with a similar salary. I’ve been called by a modeling agency in Japan, so I won’t be around much starting tomorrow.”

“You’re leaving already?” -Misuzu

“Besides, shouldn’t you soon be staying overnight in dungeons? I think our parents would probably allow it, so make sure you tell them before staying overnight. They’ll be surprised if you suddenly don’t come home.” -Mei

“O-okay, I understand.” -Misuzu

My sister said what she had to say and quickly left. Both of them always seem so busy. I thought they might have more free time now, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. While dad always seems to have time, his children are becoming busier and busier.

“Ah, no use complaining, but it still feels depressing.” -Misuzu

I lay down on the bed and decided to look up Evie’s face on my smartphone again.

“What’s with this face, too much of a visual outlier. Her eyes seem to shine like an anime character. Oh, I need to thank my sister. And I should contact Yuuta too.” -Mei

I sent a message thanking Reika for the money. Soon after, I received a reply.

『Good luck. Mei and I have already spoken to Dad and Mom, so I don’t think they will object any further. But I’m really worried about you. I’ll support you as much as I can, so don’t do anything dangerous and make sure to come back safely.

Also, I was told to keep it a secret, but the money is from Mei.

But, Mei doesn’t want you to know that she’s the one who provided the money. She’s quite knowledgeable about dungeons because she’s worked hard to level up, almost too perceptive, which is scary.

I offered to split it,

‘The UN doesn’t pay that well these days, does it?’ -Misuzu

She’s even worried about my financial situation, which isn’t cute at all.

Both Mei and I are very worried about you. Don’t forget that and do your best. 』-Mei

That was the reply I received. With that, I went straight to Mei and hugged her to say thanks. She was visibly embarrassed and seemed annoyed. Despite loving me a lot, she really is a cute sister.

After that, I thought I shouldn’t decide things on my own, so I called Yuuta. He didn’t answer the first time, so I waited a bit and called again. He still didn’t pick up, so I just left a message.
